Item - Vintage Solid Brass 'Meritor' Pencil Compass made by Betten & Turward's, Circa 1950s; stamped to one leg with BETTEN & TURWARD'S "MERITOR" L.C.C.; with the stamp LCC possibly referring to Lancashire County Council or similar 

Maker - Betten & Turward's 

Marks - Stamped with BETTEN & TURWARD'S "MERITOR" L.C.C. to one of the legs, also stamped with the details MADE IN ENGLAND to the pencil ring

Circa - 1950s

Construction -  Solid Brass

Country of Origin - England

Dimensions - 3.875" in length (produce circles upto approx 10" in diameter)

Weight - 26 gram
