Vintage Military WW2 World War 2 English Air Ministry AM Thornton Drawing Compass, Dated 1941

This is a lovely nickel plated 'lead type' drawing compass made by the Thornton Pickard Manufacturing Company of England for Air Ministry use in World War 2, Dated 1941. The compass is stamped to one of its legs with the details THORNTON A(Crown)M 1941. The compass can easily draw circles upto 15" in diameter, with all parts complete including double ended point, no lead though (please see all photos).  The Brass Compass measures 5.5" in length and are in Very Good Used Condition, though the arms a little loose when less than 3.5" apart; most probably from use above this nice and firm (please refer to photos); there is a charge of £1.00 for POSTING and PACKING to all U.K. Residents (1st Class Mail Only, others P.O.A), will also ship Worldwide, but please check table below for price on Postage.
