Vintage Medical Tool A Cox & Sons London Binaural Combo Stethoscope Sprague-Bowles Type Circa 1930s

This is a rather nice Sprague-Bowles type combination Stethoscope made by A. Cox & Sons of London, Circa 1930s, the stethoscope features a bell (ford type) and bowles diaphragm chest piece with lever valve to switch between the two, please note that the diaphragm comes complete with its original chrome plated cover. The stethoscope also features a folding head frame complete with its original ebonite ear pieces, though one is damaged and there is wear to the plating on one of the arms from use. The chest piece of the stethoscope is stamped with the makers marks of a A COX & SONS LONDON. The Stethoscope comes complete with its original tubing though they have been slightly shortened and refitted as they were cracking at the ends through age (Please see all Photos). The Stethoscope measures 22.5" in length and is in Very Good Used Conditon, though as pointed out previous there is damage to one of the ear pieces (they are both unscrewable and replaceable) and wear to the plating on of the arms of the head frame. Quite unusual to find the diaphragm complete with its original cover they usuallly get lost (Please Refer to Photos)!
