This is a rather unusual item - A vintage folding hospital/ambulance chair, Circa 1960/70s; the chair is made from steel with a painted orange finish and green vinyl seat and back, the chair is also fitted with a Britax chest belt and Flexello hard rubber tyres. This type of chair was used in the late 1960s and 1970s for portering sick patients in hospitals, ambulances, doctors surgerys, etc... they were also used for helping disabled in case of emergencys as an evacuation chair (Please see all Photos).
The Chair measures 40" in height, 15" wide, 35" (front to rear) when in use and folds to approx 49" by 17.5" and can be hung on hooks when not in use. The Chair is in Very Good Used Conditon, though does have the odd scratch and rub to the paintwork and a small tear to the rear vinyl clost to the back support (please refer to photos).
The chair is extremly heavy for postage weighing in at 25 kilogram unpackaged though we can send it for a charge of £20.00 to all U.K. Residents (Other Courier, others P.O.A), we will also ship Worldwide no problem but please contact for price on Postage.
