Vintage Mauchline Ware Sewing Wooden Wood Box Lovers Seat Queens Hotel Pier Hastings, Circa 1880

This is a lovely Mauchline Ware sewing box, Circa 1880s transfer printed with images of "LOVERS SEAT", the QUEEN'S HOTEL HASTINGS and The Pier at Hastings. The front of the box has a push button to open, the box opens to reveal its original 'well used' silk interior with pin cushion to the inside of the lid. The images on the box are extremly well detailed and clear, though there is 4 light cigarette burns to the lid (Please see all Photos) The Box measures 5.5" by 3.125", with a height of 2" and is in Excellent Used Conditon, apart from the previously mentioned cigarette burns and the tatty silk interior (Please refer to photos).
