Vintage Loom Spinning High Speed Ring Travellers Tin Vernon & Co Ltd Preston Circa 1900s

This is a empty well used vintage ring travellers tin, originally containing Vernon's High Speed Ring Travellers made by Vernon & Co. Ltd of Preston, Lancashire, England, Circa 1900s; Ring Travellers were used and still are in the Textile Industry when working with spinning looms. The tin is stamped to the base with tin makers name Hudson Scott & Sons Limited of Carlisle, England and the original price 4 shilling and six pence; Hudson Scott was the company who also made tins for the famous Carrs Biscuits (Please see all Photos).

The Tin measures 3.25" by 2.25" (height of 2.125") and is in Poor Used Conditon.
