Vintage Ladies Powder Compact Houses of Parliament London England, Circa 1950s

This is a ladies powder compact made in England, Circa 1950s. The front of the goldtone compact has a plastic-covered print of the Houses of Parliament and also shows the traditional London Red Buses. The compact is opened by lifting the top to reveal the original mirror set into the inside of the top, the words MADE IN ENGLAND is stamped below the mirror just above the hinge. The bowl of the compact is complete with used sifter (Please see all Photos)The Powder Compact measures 3.375" in diameter and is in Very Good Used Conditon, though there is a little tarnishing to the edge of the front, and also rubbing to the goldtone at the rear.
