This is a Vintage Nutbrown Aluminium Egg Separator Bowl, Circa 1950s; this device is used for seperating a white from the yolk of a egg as in baking, the white drains through the slit in the side leaving the yolk in the bowl. The bowl is stamped to its base with the following details - "NUTBROWN" S MADE IN ENGLAND (Please see all photos). The Separator measures 3.375" in diameter (at rim), 1.375" in height and is in Excellent Used Conditon.
