Vintage Hunting Tin Tally Ho Scribbans Kemp Ltd Kemps London Henry Alken Fox Hounds Horses 1950s

This is a extemly well decorated pictorial tin that originally contained Scribbans-Kemp Bakerys Products, Circa 1950s, possibly biscuits or cakes. The tin was named "Tally-Ho" due to three hunting scenes depicted on all faces of the tin. The base of the tin is printed with the following details - "TALLY-HO" The three scenes depicted on this tin "Meeting at Cover", "Breaking Cover" and "Full Cry" are reproduced from coloured aquatints made by T. Sutherland from the original paintings by the famous sporting artist Henry Alken 1784 - 1851 SCRIBBANS-KEMP (BAKERIES) LIMITED LONDON AND BRANCHES, the base also features the SK logo twice and the tin makers details - 6 MB CONTAINER MADE IN ENGLAND (Please see all Photos). The Tin measures 11.5" by 3.75" (depth of 4") and is in Very Good Used Conditon, though there is small area of rubbing to the front, near to tape residue; most probably caused trying to clean the tape residue from the tin (not guilty!).
