Vintage George V Brass Shop Weight 1 lb Pound GR 28 County of London Circa 1920s Paperweight

This is a single 1lb (One Pound) Imperial solid brass weight, Circa 1920/30s; stamped to the top with the details - 1lb, the base has a lead insert which is stamped with the Weights and Measures Crown Mark with the intials GR and the locality mark 28 for the County of London, the date mark 26 for 1926; the intials LCC also appear which I presume were for London County Council. The Weight would make an interesting addition to a collection; alternatively it could be used as a desk paperweight (Please see all Photos). The Weight measures 2.75" diameter and is in Very Good Used Conditon (please refer to photos).
