Construction -  Card Box with Plastic Board and Pieces

Country of Origin - Holland

Dimensions - 9" by 8.5" (depth 1.25") 

Weight - 190g

Condition - Excellent Unused Condition though as mentioned the the original seal is a little split in places. The box is also a little squished in places but not that it has caused damage will probably pop out once opened  (please see all photos)

Other Interesting Points - 

Contra - The game of Contra is one of counteracting forces and the key to its play is the colour diagram on the player board.

Start Positions - Using the round pegs, each player sets up a colour code in the four holes on the base line centred below the main playing area at each end and places his eight arrows in the first row, in any order of his choosing. One side plays with plain surface pieces and the other with dimpled pieces.

Objectives - The Objective of Contra is to try to replace the opponents colour pegs with arrows, thus reproducing the colour code of pegs with arrows the peg being removed off the board and the arrow taking its place.

Scoring - If an arrow replaces an opponent's peg of the same colour, two points are scored, but if the arrow replaces a peg of any other colour than it's own, then only one point is scored (e.g. a red dimpled arrow is moved in to replace the red plain surfaced peg of the opponent - two points are scored by the player with dimpled pieces but if the red arrow replaces his opponents blue/yellow/white peg, one point is earned.)
