Vintage Desk Office Shop Bill Receipt Spike Hook Hanging Standing Hexagon Base 1940s 16 ?

Item - Vintage Hand Made Bill Spike/Hook, ideal for storing receipts, Circa 1930s; though could be possibly earlier....as it appears to have that certain military look to it.....the hexagon base is hand stamped with the number 16, could this be a reference to the date; that no one could be sure.....!

Marks - Hand Stamped 16 to the underside of the base 

Circa - 1930s, possibly earlier

Construction -  Steel

Country of Origin - Unmarked but most likely English

Dimensions -  6.75" length (Base - 2.75" across flats)

Weight - 90 gram

Condition - Excellent Used Condition
