Vintage Daintee Blackpool Toffee Sweet Tin, Spaceman Rocket Space Commander, Circa 1950s

This is a rather unusual vintage tin named 'SPACEMAN', that contained Daintee Pure Confectionery, Circa 1950s. The tin is round with a pictorial pull off lid that depicts a child dressed as a Space Commander playing with a dog. The rear of the tin is printed with the details - NET WEIGHT 3ozs DAINTEE Pure Confectionery MADE IN ENGLAND Manufactured by the Daintee Chocolate Confectionery Co. (Blackpool) Ltd. Marton, Blackpool, England. The Tin measures 4.25" in diameter (height of 1.125") and is in Good Used Conditon, though there is considerable wear and areas of light corrision.
