Vintage Cast Iron Shop Weighing Scales Weight 1/2 lb 8oz West Riding 1963 Paperweight Circa 1960s

This is a single cast iron weight as used with shop scales, Circa 1960s which would make a unusual desk paperweight. The base of the weight has a lead insert which is stamped with the verification marks of a crown over the royal ciphor of Elizabeth the Second, the numbered stamp of 303 for West Riding, Yorkshire and then the date stamps 3 63 for March 1963. The Weight is also stamped to the cast body with the number 7, though no makers name (Please see all Photos). The Weight measures 2.25" in diameter (0.625" in height) and is in Excellent Used Conditon.
