Brief Insight into Solidex Milk Savers

The Solidex Glass (Pyrex) Milk Saver is a rather handy device that is placed on the bottom of a saucepan to prevent boiling over. As boiling commences the disc gives a vibrating sound. For continous boiling use low heat. May be used for milk, cocoa, any vegetables, macaroni and other pastas or liquids. Transparent (made from pyrex style or pyrex glass later versions), hygenic and easy to clean it is a boon to the busy housewife and is indispensible in the kitchen. The Solidex Milk Saver was made in France and distributed by Murrell Ltd of London, England. We have so far found two different types of boxes, both having the same fronts but different addresses for the distributors
