Vintage Biscuit Tin Meredith & Drew M&D Ltd London Queen Elizabeth II Coronation Souvenir 1953

This is a super vintage Elizabeth II Coronation tin from Meredith & Drew Limited of London, England that once contained Biscuits, produced as a souvenir for the Coronation of the Queen in June 1953. The pull off lid of the tin has a portrait image of Queen Elizabeth II with the front and rear having the detail - A SOUVENIR OF THE CORONATION OF H.M. QUEEN ELIZABETH II 1953. The base of the tin is printed with the details - BISCUITS Made in England by MEREDITH & DREW LIMITED, LONDON, ENGLAND. Factories at Ashby-de-la-Zouch, Brighouse, Cinderford, Halifax, Newmarket & Oldham Net Weight 16 oz. (453 grm). (Please see all Photos). The Tin measures 9" by 4.5", with a depth of 2.5" and is in Excellent Used Conditon (please refer to photos).
