Vintage Biscuit Tin Huntley & Palmers Reading Lord Mayor's Coach HBS 2569/4001, Circa 1950s


This is a vintage biscuit tin made for Huntley & Palmers of Reading, Circa 1950s; the tin is named as LORD MAYOR'S COACH, which is printed to the rim of the tin with the HBS code 2569/4001. The sides of the tin are printed with the latin DOMINE DIRIGE NOS, which is the motto of the City of London and translates to "Lord, Guide Us". The sides of the tin are also printed with the details - HBS 2569/4001 MADE IN ENGLAND; HBS was Huntley Boorne & Stevens the tin box manufactuers to Huntley & Palmers and Bryant & May (Please see all Photos). The Tin measures 10" by 8", with a depth of 2.125" and is in Excellent Used Conditon, with very slight rubbing to the edges/corners of the lid (please refer to photos). There is a charge of £3.00 to all U.K. Residents (1st Class Mail, others P.O.A), will also ship Worldwide no problem but please check table below for price on Postage.
