Vintage Art Nouveau McVitie & Price's Digestive Deer/Stag Sample Biscuit Tin, Circa 1925

This is a vintage sample biscuit tin, that original contained a free sample of Digestive Biscuits, Circa 1925; made by McVitie & Price's of England. The tin has an Art Nouveau inspired hinged lid that depicts a deer or stag. The top opens to reveal the printed details - McVITIE & PRICE'S DIGESTIVE and the slogan below - "The Premier Biscuit of Britain". The tin is embossed to the base with the details - FREE SAMPLE NO CHARGE, the tin is also printed with the tin box makers details - S, W & M, LTD, MANSFIELD No. 6764. The Tin measures approx 3.75" square (height of 1.5") and is in Good Used Conditon, with slight rubbing all over (please refer to photos).
