Vintage 10x8 Typhoo Football Card Peter Rodrigues Leicester City and Wales Circa 1960s

This is a original 1960s 10x8 Football Card produced by Typhoo Tea Limited of Birmingham, this particular card is of Peter Rodrigues of Leicester City and Wales. The blurb at the bottom of the card reads - A league debut with Cardiff City in 1963 was followed by a move to Leicester City on December 31st 1965. On the following day he played against Stoke for his new club. Peter Rodrigues now has 15 full caps and has represented Wales in Schoolboy, Youth and 'Under 23' teams. On the Welsh tour of South Amercia he had the task of marking Garrincha which he rates as one of the highlights of his career. (Please see scans). The Football Card measures 10" by 8" and is in Excellent Used Conditon and ideal for framing.
