Vintage 10x8 Typhoo Football Card Keith Newton Blackburn Rovers and England Circa 1960s

This is a original 1960s 10x8 Football Card produced by Typhoo Tea Limited of Birmingham, this particular card is of Keith Newton of Blackburn Rovers and England. The blurb at the bottom of the card reads - Ten years with his present club so far have lead to Keith Newton's captaincy in the present season. His senior debut was against Chelsea in 1960 as a wing-half. Recognition of his playing skill has come in the form of four 'Under 23' caps and 10 full caps for his country. His first cap was against West Germany in Febrauary 1966 and Keith Newton selects playing against Scotland at Hampden Park as one of the outstanding moments of his career so far. (Please see scans). The Football Card measures 10" by 8" and is in Excellent Used Conditon and ideal for framing.
