Unusual Vintage Farming Tool Silage Cutter C. T. Skelton of Sheffield England Circa 1900s

This is a rather intersting 'heavy' farming tool that we are led to believe is a Wooden handled Silage Cutter, Circa 1880-1910 made by C. T. Skelton & Co of Sheffield, England. The tool has massive blade measuring 29.5" by 8.5" which is stamped BEST CROWN and the makers mark of C. T. SKELTON SHEFFIELD. The Tool measures approx 3 foot by 2 foot and is in Excellent used Conditon, though there is a age crack to the rear of the wooden handle and the intials - H P C branded into the handle!
