Single Vintage George V Brass Shop Weight 1 Oz Ounce GR 553 Blackpool, Circa 1920 1930s

This is a single 1 Ounce solid brass weight, Circa 1920/30s; stamped to the top with the details - 1 oz, the base has a lead insert which is stamped with the Weights and Measures Crown Mark with the intials GR and the locality mark of Blackpool 553. The weight is also stamped with various date marks from 1928 to 38 and also the letters A, C, D, and F (Please see all Photos). The Weight measures 1.125" diameter and is in Excellent Used Conditon.
