Rare Vintage Shop Bar Display Long John Tregnum Scotch Whisky Bottle Circa 1960s

This is a rare large corked vintage glass display bottle, Circa 1960s as used to advertise Long John Whisky in shops and bars. The bottle was made never to contain whisky and was simply sprayed on the inside to imitate the look of whisky within the bottle, in all other ways it is identical to a standard bottle of the time, having the moulded crest close to the neck,  a further moulded crest around the central paper label and to finish there is a silver label close to the base. The centre label is embossed with raised dots to the edge with the centre print reading - Long John TREGNUM REGD. TRADE MARK PRODUCE OF SCOTLAND BLENDED SCOTCH WHISKY, with the lettering Long John also raised. The Silver label towards the base is printed with crest and the image of a scotsman raising a toast, and also the text - Blended Scotch Whiskey SPECIAL RESERVE 70% PROOF DISTILLED MATURED AND BLENDED IN SCOTLAND LONG JOHN DISTILLERIES GLASGOW SCOTLAND. The bottle is finished with a plastic topped cork stopper this also embossed with the details - Long John SCOTCH WHISKY in black. The base of the bottle is embossed with the details LONG JOHN DISTILLERIES GLASGOW SCOTLAND  and the makers marks D&M 12 3.
