Rare Vintage Buchan Portobello Scotland Stoneware Tankard Mexican Pattern Circa 1970s

This is a stunning hand made stoneware tankard made by the Buchan Portobello studio Pottery of Scotland, Circa 1970s, decorated in the rare 'Mexican' pattern, the base of the tankard is stamped with the BUCHAN PORTOBELLO thistle mark and also printed with the details - 87420 M1-186 (please see all photos). The Tankard measures 5" in height and is in Excellent Used Conditon, with no chips or cracks.
