Rare Limited Edition Boxed Perfume Scent Bottle W.W.2000±1S (1999) Millennium B'Prime EDT 100ml

Item - Rare Hard to Find W.W.2000±1S Eau de Toilette by B'Prime Parfums of Paris in Original Box, Circa 1999; the neck of the bottle still retains its original 'directions of use' label (please refer to photos).

Other Interesting Points - This rare and hard to find fragrance was named W.W.2000±1S; a mathematical formula which translates to World Wide 2000 plus or minus 1 second as a homage to the New Millennium which at the time could not be more esoteric. The bottle is of round for, with a dimple to the base so that it does not roll of the dressing table, very reminiscent of a globe or even the planet?!? It was designed by Frederico Restrepo a well known designer in the field of cosmetics amongst other areas of which he is equalled renowned for, The perfume was sold by subscription from June 1998 to February 2000 with the mould of the bottle then being publicly destroyed in September 1999 in front of an official witness; the destroyed mould was then put on the Internet for sale via an auction until midnight of December 31st 1999, with all profits donated to charity. The fragrance has top notes of Bergamot, Mandarin Orange, Green Tea and Lavender; Mid Notes of Jasmine, Peonies and Violets; the base notes are of Oak Moss and Musk; very similar to Azzarro Chrome. The perfume was first presented by Printemps Department Store in Paris as part of an exhibition devoted to perfume and we believe it was first sold for 320 French Francs. Each bottle was individually numbered to the label which appears to the inside of the bottle (please see picture 2, top left), this particular example is numbered W/5425; the label is printed with the following details - 100ml 3,4 Fl. Oz 81% alcool B'PRIME Parfums Paris Lot 2000 Made in France Eau de Toilette flacon cerifie authentique No. W/5425.
